The Company specializes in residential home furnishings and accessories, and is a stocking retailer. Unlike the vast majority of retail furniture stores, Furniture 4 less actually maintains stock of what it sells, on hand, at all times. The “warehouse” area is physically attached to the showroom, so that customers do not have to drive to some other location to pick up their merchandise. Delivery is available as well, locally, at a nominal additional charge, provided by insured company employees, not sub contractors.
Furniture 4 less was the original retailer in the metro area to provide affordable custom upholstered furniture, with lightning fast delivery, at no additional charge to its customers, and continues to do so, successfully.
The Company has carried the same “lines” or vendors since inception, and has exclusive distribution rights to most products it sells.
In 2004 the Company began offering its own “In-House” credit/financing plans to its customers. As the company owns all of its inventory outright, it is able to carry back the sale, and provide credit terms to customers who may not otherwise have qualified for conventional 3rd party financing. While not every applicant is approved, the company is able to approve many and thereby facilitate sales that would not have otherwise been made, by the company or any other similar retailer, etc. Many potential customers seek out the company specifically for its flexible credit terms, as the accounts are reported to the credit bureau, and thereby enable many consumers to establish or in some cases reestablish a credit history, etc.
Furniture 4 less also services many commercial customers, from non-profits, to governmental or quasi-governmental agencies who are set up on N30 terms. The Company has successfully maintained the same commercial accounts for over a decade.

The Company makes charitable donations of cash and merchandise to many local charities, with an emphasis in the last few years on Animal Rescue Groups, and often supplies furniture and bedding to local residents who have experienced catastrophic incidents, etc. Often the Company is one of the suppliers of emergency household supplies after local apartment building fires or the like, working with various Local Fire Departments, etc. The Company supports all City of Gaithersburg events when called upon by the City to contribute.
